Accomodations

Once guests drive into the Upper Ruby Valley and see the mountains surrounding the ranch and the lush green valley they know they are about to indulge in a true Montana Vacation.   Upper Canyon Outfitters is nestled between three mountain ranges and along the banks of the Ruby River.  You are greeted with a warm welcome and the western hospitality that makes you feel like home.

2010 Upgrades this spring we are painting the lodge rooms and redecorating with antique furniture.  The rooms are looking outstanding.  Can't wait to show you our new project.

LODGE:  Guests enjoy our spacious and comfortable lodge with large picture windows to give you a panoramic view of the mountains surrounding the lodge.  The main lodge serves as a gathering place for great visits on the front deck, hearty home style meals and comfortable private guest rooms with daily maid service.  Learn more about our lodge.

CABINS:  The log cabins are located near the banks of the Ruby River.  Each of our four private cabins is decorated in a Montana theme and comes complete with private bedrooms, baths and complete kitchens.  After your busy day of Upper Canyon activities you can relax on the front deck of your cabin enjoying the natural surroundings.  You will have no trouble sleeping as you unwind and enjoy the solitude of your own private cabin.  Learn more about our cabins.

CONFERENCE/RECEPTION ROOM:  An ideal place for a business retreat, wedding or family reunion.  Upper Canyon offers a full size reception room with a private bath and kitchen.  With our outdoor chapel couples have shared with us their special day and don’t have to worry about unexpected Montana weather with our reception room.   Learn more about our conference room.

Don’t forget to kick back on the hammock hidden away in the cottonwood trees at the fly fishing pond.  Relax with the sound of the water caring your worries away. 

We do not offer any alcoholic beverages, so please feel welcome to bring whatever beverages you prefer. The inside of the lodge and cabins are entirely non-smoking, but you may smoke out on one of the decks.
