Saturday June 2nd. Opening day UCO
There are always activities happening at UCO. In July and August we offer our history and hiking tours. All summer long enjoy our horse riding adventures and our blue ribbon fly fishing.
May 19th. - Opening day of general fishing season.
May 25th - 28th Memorial Day Celebration - UCO guests will enjoy opening weekend of Virginia City. UCO staff and guest will be participating in the Virginia City horseback poker ride.

May 25th Opening Night Gala - VC Players "Foggerty's Fairy" The Virginia City Players will have three different plays this summer, each play is followed by a vaudeville variety act. Well worth your time to attend one of the plays while you are staying at Upper Canyon Outfitters. Reservations 1-800-829-2969
June 6 - 12 - UCO Cattle Drive - Move the Ruby Dell Cattle Ranch cattle over fifty miles. We move over 1000 head of cattle into the Beaverhead National Forest.
June 9 - Virginia City Victoria Ball of 1864 - Learn about the role the Civil War had in Montana's early history. Join us at the 'Grand Ball and see Victorian fashions and customs.
June 22 - Virginia City Ghost Walk Starts: The tour will leave from the Bale of Hay Saloon at 9pm Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations 406-843-5218
June 23 - 29 - "WELCOME COSSO FAMILY" Happy Birthday Dave!!!
June 30 - July 4 - Upper Canyon Outfitters Horse Adventure Week an extraordinary week filled with activities to help you build trust, understanding, and appreciation of horses and all the beauty they possess.
July 4th. - Ennis Parade starts at 10 am THEME: Celebration of the American Cowgirl.
July 4th. - Ennis consistently provides the most exciting and challenging rodeo in the state of Montana. The event attracts top cowboys and cowgirls and top stock. Come on out for a great time! Start at 2pm
July 4th - Virginia City Fire Work display at dusk
July 5 - 11 - UCO Cattle Drive - UCO is offering you a chance to experience a genuine cattle drive. On this trip you are helping real Montana cattle ranchers who still make their living close to the land. You will experience riding the range with professional horse wranglers and cowhands, drive the cattle and sleep under the stars. We gather, sort, brand and move over 800 head of cattle into the Beaverhead National Forest.
July 14 - 20 - UCO Women's Week join us for a week filled with fun , laughter, and the chance to experience the Great Outdoors with new people, new challenges, new adventures while having the time of your life doing it!
July 28 - Aug. 3 and the week of Aug 4 - 10 - UCO's Fly Fishing adventure week with Dusty Wissmath. Dusty is a widely respected fly casting instructor a Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Casting Instructor and member of the Scott Fly Rod Co., Ross Reels and Hyde Drift Board Pro Staffs, is bringing his renowned Fly Fishing Skills to Upper Canyon Outfitters.
July 30th Moon light Steam Engine Ride in Virginia City
August: Every week at Upper Canyon Outfitters will be full of horse adventures, hiking tours live entertainment and fly fishing that is unforgettable.
August 8 - 12 - The annual Madison County Fair & Rodeo held in Twin Bridges. Experience a real west county fair with a Youth Rodeo, 2 days of NRA Rodeo, entertainment, horseshoe tournament, team roping, barbecues and parade.
September 1 - UCO Saddle up the horses and put on your poker face! Guest's at Upper Canyon Outfitters have the option of joining in on the horseback poker ride in Virginia City.
September 1 - 3 - Kick up your heels and head to Dillon this Labor Day for MONTANA'S BIGGEST WEEKEND. Join the annual Labor Day Rodeo and Concert. Catch action-packed PRCA rodeo thrills Sunday and Monday. The parade starts at 10:00am on Monday. Don't miss a great concert on Sunday night.
September 29th: Missy Tate and Bill Woods tying the knot Montana Style at Upper Canyon. CONGRATULATIONS TO A WONDERFUL COUPLE
