Calendar of Events 2011
There are always activities happening at UCO. In July and August we offer our history and hiking tours. All summer long enjoy our horse riding adventures and our blue ribbon fly fishing.

Feb. 6 – 14 Harrisburg, PA,Jake booth #6916 hunting section Donna in booth #452 fishing section. March 3-6 Reno, NV. RMEF Show We will be in booth # 1122
March 15th. All elk/deer hunting licenses application due into Mt. FWP
May 1st. Moose, Sheep, Goat hunting licenses application due into Mt. FWP
May 28th. Opening Weekend for UCO 2011 Season. Memorial Day Weekend
June 1 Antelope and special permit hunting licenses application due into Mt. FWP
June 15 – Fly Fishing Season takes off

July 4th Parade, Rodeo and UCO Picnic Celebration
July 6 – 11 Cattle Drive Week

VIRGINIA CITY Events: 
Virginia City is a historic gold mining town that brings the old west alive. Only 40 minutes from Upper Canyon. There are daily events and special functions listed on the calendar below. Virginia City Ghost Walk occurs every night. Tours leave from Bale of Hay Saloon at approximately 9 p.m. The cost is $8.00 for those 13 or older. It is $5 for 12 and under. Check it out for a spooktacular time! Every weekend there is a LIVING HISTORY WEEKEND events held in Nevada City are themed interpretive weekends where each weekend event is based upon happenings in the past of Alder Gulch.
