Guided Lodge Hunts
Located at the main ranch is a completely modern lodge. Hunting from the lodge gives you access to the Snowcrest, Greenhorn, and Gravelly Mtn. ranges. This versatility enables Upper Canyon Outfitters to bring the hunters to the game. From our lodge we offer elk, mule deer combination hunts on the national forest you are hunting resident elk and muledeer which accounts for the high success of your hunt. Also from the lodge we offer a trophy whitetail hunt on private ranches leased exclusively by UCO. Many of our wild river-bottom whitetail bucks are record-book candidates that we actively managed year-round for consistent trophies. By limiting hunter access and the number of deer harvested every year we accomplish a high success rate and ample opportunities for taking home large whitetail bucks. In September and October we offer our guided antelope and moose hunts from the lodge. Our hunts from the lodge are done via 4-wheel drive, horseback, and walking. After your all day hunt, you can return to a warm, private room and a hot meal. We can arrange to accommodate non-hunting guests who desire a western experience.
