Season Dates
Upper Canyon Outfitters opens in mid May and runs through the end of November.
May and June offer fly fishing and horseback activities, this time of year offers some fantastic opportunity to see the wildlife with their young.
July and August things really kick off at the ranch the high water has reached a more stable level and the dry fly fishing has begun. Our hiking and history tours begin along with special evening ranch activities. And the local town of Virginia City is booming.
September can offer some outstanding fly fishing and horseback adventures with an array of color spread throughout the mountain valleys.
September is the start of early bugling season and our archery hunters get an unexplainable feel of excitement when they face monster bull elk only 30 yards away.
Last week of October and the month of November the air is turning cold and our rifle hunters have joined us for a real outdoor adventure in pursuit of a elk, whitetail, mule deer, antelope or moose.
