Rates for 2008 Summer Season:
The 2008 Summer Season at Upper Canyon Outfitters starts the first of June through mid-September. Beginning July 1 through August we offer local history tours, horsemanship clinics, hiking tours, and evening activities. Listed below are our all-inclusive packages, as well as our daily rates and special event weeks. We can customize a special package to suite your individual needs.
FREE WIRELESS AT THE LODGE
Ala Carte Lodging: available June–mid September, three night minimum stay.
Lodge: Large rustic six bedroom lodge. Included: Breakfast, Lunch, & Supper daily.

Log Cabin Lodging: Three cabins are two-bedroom/two bath each sleeps six and each cabin is complete with a full kitchen and private bathrooms. All cooking utensils, towels and bedding are supplied.

Package #1 – Montana Get-A-Way (available July and August)
This package covers all basic ranch activities including: lodging, breakfast, lunch, and supper daily; a two hour horseback ride, guided hikes in the beautiful mountains; guided history tour, more than two-miles fishing access on the Ruby River; fishing in our spring-fed trout pond, plus use of all lodge facilities. At the end of your busy day join us for complimentary appetizers and cold refreshments on the lodge deck each evening before supper. LODGE ROOM OR CABIN:

Want to try it all? This package is for you! This deluxe package includes lodging, breakfast, lunch and supper daily. You are greeted with a welcome gift from UCO and with complete access to all ranch activities–guided fly fishing and fly casting instruction; guided horseback adventures, one-day float trip; guided hikes, guided history tour, more than two-miles fishing access on the Ruby River, fishing at our spring-fed trout pond, and a one-hour massage by our staff therapist. FLY FISHING PACKAGES:
These packages are designed for anglers who just can’t get enough fly fishing! Fly fishing guests have the exclusive use of over two miles of the Ruby River and a private spring-fed pond on the ranch. Full-time fly fishing guides are available at the ranch for instruction, float trips, walk/wade trips, and information on water conditions. We are fortunate to be in such a central location for some of Montana’s best fly fishing. All Fly Fishing Packages include: lodging, three home cooked meals daily, a UCO welcome gift, guided fly fishing with instruction, and complimentary appetizers and cold refreshments on the lodge deck each evening before supper.

HORSEBACK RIDING PACKAGES:
Come experience a true western adventure while enjoying the scenic Ruby Valley! Explore this region on our dependable, well-trained horses. Rides begin at the ranch which is surrounded by high mountain peaks and National Forest. Our trail rides take you places where you can see spectacular scenery, wildflowers, and wildlife. We offer private lessons, two-hour rides to all-day trail rides, as well as overnight pack trips and cattle drives.
Horse Adventure: Includes lodging, breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, UCO welcome gift, ride as much as you want and take a different horseback adventure each day, enjoy guided hiking, auto tour, evening activities, and complimentary appetizers and cold refreshments on the lodge deck each evening before supper. 2008 Special Horse Events:
Cattle Drive: June 6-12 and July 5-11 (6 nights, 5 days) Gives you a chance to experience a genuine cattle drive. On this trip you help real Montana cattle ranchers who still make their living close to the land. Experience riding the range with horse wranglers and cowhands, drive the cattle, and sleep two nights under the stars. You will enjoy yourself and feel like you not only visited the west, “you lived it.” Package includes all your meals and a UCO welcome gift. UCO Cattle Drive…....$ 1580
Women’s Week: July 12-18 (6 nights, 5 days) Is designed to enlighten and instruct women on how to look at the earth the way nature intended us to. You will not only learn from our skilled instructors you will have the opportunity to see the world through the eyes of the horse you will be riding during the week. You will also experience fly-fishing techniques and hands-on fishing, outdoor survival skills and wilderness philosophy, increase self confidence and the awareness of oneself alone with reducing stress through Nature Observation. Having the Lodge to Yourself: For a family getaway, wedding, or small corporate retreat, we recommend that you reserve our entire ranch facilities. Guests have exclusive use of the lodge, cabins, reception/conference room, gazebo, and all other facilities. (Minimum 16 guests; maximum sleeping accommodations–40)

Notes:
- Activities begin the day after you arrive at the lodge, and are not included on your departure day.
- An additional seven percent (7%) Montana lodging tax will be added to each trip.
- Fishing licenses must be purchased from the Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks.
You may obtain a fishing license on line. - Check in time is 1:00 pm.
- Check out time is 10:00 am.
Payments: To secure a reservation, a 30 percent deposit is required. Balance is due upon arrival. Payment may be made by check, money order or most major credit cards.
Cancellations: Travel insurance is available for an additional fee.
